The Sisters of the Cross have been called by the Lord to contemplative life.
They must love God above all things and seek Him through attentive contemplation, solitude and silence, by loving and willing sacrifice, generous penance, and simple humble work. To participate in the interior feelings of Jesus Himself, specially in His redeeming offering, they unite themselves to Him in the Holy Sacrifice of Mass and they adore Him constantly in the Eucharist, imitating the faithfulness of Mary after her Son's Ascension into heaven. (Constitution 6)
Blessed Conchita taught us that every single task we do during our day is meant to make up a "chain of love" that reaches up to heaven. Each small part of our day, each duty is done in union with Jesus for the salvation of the world.
